"MEXCALTITAN"
Mexcaltitan is a small island located in the municipality of Santiago Ixcuintla, Nayarit, Mexico. Also the name of the town that sits on the island. Its name comes from Nahuatl mexcalli, "mezcal", and titlan, "place, city."
Some historians believe that this is the mythical Aztlan, birthplace of the Aztecs. Its main tourist attraction lies in its colorful houses with roof tiles and double water in the rainy season, the streets of the island are flooded temporarily, so that it becomes a little Venice of Mexico, which can be flown in canoes.
